Everything ordered through The Formulator is a custom formulation, for which batch manufacturing time is required.
If, when we receive your order, we anticipate that its production and stability testing will not be completed within 15 working days, we will coordinate that schedule with you before we charge your credit card for your batch.

We will ship your package promptly after your product has been produced, tested, and packaged. We will notify you by email when your package has been shipped.

Unless you have made other arrangements with us, shipment will be by our standard method, which for most formulations and most countries (including the United States) is Priority Mail from the United States Postal Service.
Formulations containing some ingredients require special handling and must be shipped by Express Mail, whatever their destination; details are provided in the special handling instructions for those ingredients.
Elsom Research is not a shipping company and we do not make guarantees about the schedules and operations of any shipping companies.

FOR SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
For most countries (including the United States) our standard shipping method is Priority Mail from the United States Postal Service.
For several countries in which our customers have complained of unreliability and extensive delays in local delivery, we require the more costly method of Express Mail, which provides detailed tracking information. The shipping cost of your package will be calculated for you at checkout and automatically adjusted as appropriate for the country specified in the delivery address. Unless you make other arrangements with us, your product will be shipped via Priority Mail or Express Mail through the US Postal Service. Our experience has been that Priority Mail and Express Mail packages reach their destination country within a few days, and then may be immediately delivered or may remain in the local Customs Office for an unpredictable period awaiting processing before they can be delivered. Because Customs delays are so common, the Post Office cannot investigate Priority Mail delivery delays until 30 days after the package was shipped. Please allow at least 30 days after we notify you that your package has been shipped before you become concerned that it may have been lost.

Our shipping charges may be adjusted without notice as shipping companies change the rates they charge us.
As of July 2, 2008, the standard shipping costs automatically added to orders are:

• $9 for Priority Mail within the United States
• $15 for Priority Mail to most other countries
• $25 for Express Mail to countries where detailed tracking information is needed

If there is a special handling charge for a time-sensitive ingredient in your formulation, it is in addition to these standard shipping costs.

Custom formulations ordered through The Formulator are produced according to your specifications and conform to our processing and quality-control methods; these are one-of-a-kind products for which refunds are not available. Our obligation is to combine the formulation base and optional ingredients you selected into a cosmeceutical usable for the purpose associated with the base (facial moisturizer, shampoo, etc); we will meet that obligation, but cannot make any other commitments as to the nature of the final formulation.
However, if you are not satisfied with your custom item, contact us and we will work with you to develop a solution that is fair to all parties.

If you prefer to select a tried-and-true cosmeceutical rather than to experiment with a unique combination of ingredients, we invite you visit our COSMECEUTICALS STORE and select among the stock retail cosmeceuticals available there. The description of each formulation base includes a link to the Elsom Research stock skincare product it most closely resembles; especially if you are not inclined to experiment, please carefully examine the description of the stock product and consider whether this may be a faster, simpler, and less-expensive way to meet your skincare needs.

Our products are manufactured, inspected, and packaged with great care and each product that leaves our facility is guaranteed to be of the highest quality.
